Geelong's 'healthiest building' revealed
Geelong's WorkSafe headquarters has just been named the region's healthiest building.
Quintessential Equity developed the $150 million 14-storey structure at 1 Malop Street.
CEO Russell Bullen said it rated 5 1/2 stars out of six, achieving "Excellent" NABERS energy ratings across three categories.
"To give some context around that, to go to from a five star to a five and a half star rating, it actually reflects about a 25 per cent improvement in energy efficiency," he said.
The company is also developing the new GMHBA Headquarters in Malop Street, and has joined with the City of Greater Geelong for the Geelong Civic Precinct partnership.
