Torquay woman's costly urge to drive
A woman who allegedly returned a preliminary breath test reading almost twice the legal limit has told police she'd been drinking at home when she felt like going for a drive.
Police stopped the 34-year-old's car in Baines Crescent at around 4am on Wednesday.
She recorded a BAC of .094.
The woman was issued with a $496 fine and had lost her licence for six months.
